When you open somewhere new, payments is one of about forty decisions competing for the same week. So it tends to get settled by whoever asks first, or by whatever came bundled with the till system.
That is how most owners end up on terms they never really chose. Not because they were careless, but because the decision arrived at the worst possible moment and looked small.
It stops looking small around month four, when the statement has a few lines on it nobody explained.
This is the one thing worth understanding if you are fitting out a new place in Cypress.
Most modern till systems come with card processing built in. Very often the POS company is not the processor. They are reselling somebody else's processing with their own margin on top, and that margin is set by them.
That is not automatically a bad deal, and the convenience is real. But it is worth knowing it is happening before you sign a multi-year agreement, because the hardware and the processing are usually tied together in the same contract.
You bring last month's statement. We read it together and work out what you are genuinely paying once every line is counted, rather than the headline rate you were quoted.
Then we say plainly whether moving is worth it. Sometimes it is not, and you should hear that too.
No fee, no obligation. If you have been trading under a year, this is usually the cheapest half hour available to you.
New businesses tend to need more than a terminal. Customer financing so a bigger job is affordable. Merchant funding for equipment or working capital while the first year settles. Business technology so the place is not run from memory. Essential services like electricity. Commercial insurance.
One number for all of it is easier than managing six separate relationships in a year when you have no spare hours.

Yes. Cypress is a short drive and it is one of the areas we work in most. Meetings happen in person.
No. There is no cost to have your current processing statement read and explained, and no obligation afterwards.
Bring last month's statement. We will go through it line by line and tell you what it is actually costing you, in plain language. No cost to ask, and no obligation.
